Default 457 visa & superannuation

Hello all,

Just a quick question on Super when on a 457 visa - I'm told when my visa comes to an end at the end of 4 years I am able to take back to the UK with me the funds paid into my superplan. I do understand that the tax office will apply a tax charge for doing so, but I've not been able to find out what sort of level of tax we are talking about...

Anyone able to offer any advice or guidance or been through the same ?

Thanks in advance!

Tax will be deducted at either 35% or 45% (Jan 2009) depending on if the contributions received tax concessions or not.
