Default 457 visa

I have finished two-year study in Australia 3 months ago and currently hold a 457 visa. Does anybody know if I can apply for PR under overseas student category? Thanks for info.

Not onshore, but you may be able to lodge an offshore application within the 6 month window from course completion. So don't waste time.

Do you hold the 457 visa as a dependent? If not, you will face other problems.

Get some good professional assistance as you will have only one chance to get it right.

Before 457 visa which was issued three months ago, I held a student visa.

In that case you may be able to apply onshore. Depends on circumstances. Get professional assistance.
