Default 457 question!!

Hi all, wonder if someone could help with a 457 question, me and hubbie have been here 15 months and was going to apply for pr, what i need to know is that my husband works in the oil industry and his job is not on the skilled requirements, do we automatically get pr after 2 years if we apply or is there a chance we still get rejected, because ifs thats the case i would rather know now than wait 4 years and then they say we have to leave, at least i can save then return home. Any answers would be much aprreciated.
Cheers
Suzanne

Short answer : NO!

Longer answer : Some PR requirements are relaxed for those who have spent 2 years on a 457 but there are still some significant requirements to meet.

If job is going to be in a regional area, have you considered RSMS? (permanent visa)
