4 Working Days!!!! Got It Sept 1st!!!!

4 Working Days!!!! Got It Sept 1st!!!!
Bert and Stella are headed to Oz! After sending our app last Wednesday we were waiting for an acknowlegment from London. No acknowledgement but straight to spouse visa granted!!!!! Needless to say we are STOKED! The (first bottle) of bubbles are gone already - 1.75kg of paperwork to DIMIA surely paid off!!!
HOWEVER we have already realised that the hardwork starts now - you can't help but see things around the house as 'pack' or 'sell' or 'store'!!! Tis a weird feeling that every 10 minutes or so you remember that it is true - you have the visa and can now seriously start planning to move!!!
Thanks again to all - am sure we have many more questions to come but hope that we can help some others also - if you are doing your spouse visa and have questions please ask us! We will help where we can.
And for all those moving to Queensland or living there already - make way for Bert and Stella!!!! Hoping to move to Mackay or Gold Coast - jobs pending!

Yep, Stella is Ozzy and Bert is Scottish - so it is definately easier than skills visas. There is no cut off limit on spouse visas either, so as long as you meet the criteria you are accepted. It is a weird feeling seeing most folk having to take the skills route and wait so long tho

Told you you'd get it quickly! We got mine in 7 days (not working days), they're very quick with the spouse visa's. Some a BIG congratulations to you both P.S. Packing is dreadful and takes ages!
