4 weeks to GC
hi all
why does everything seem to wrong at the last minute?
flights booked from gatwick to bris on 1st sept, can't sell so renting out house. tried to get a landlords cert for the boiler only for it to be condemned with the cost of a new full heating system running around £4-5k!! next day the car decided to start leaking coolant everywhere!! to top it all as we were going to bed last night we saw the wallpaper coming away from the wall due to a leak from under the toilet upstairs!! Oh and the tossers we bought the house off had decided to box everything in and silicone it meaning no way of getting to the toilet cistern without doing lots of major damage!!!B*A*S*T*A*R*D*S!!!!!!!!
JD has never tasted so bloody good

Re: 4 weeks to GC
Oh you poor things, we are having similar problems, we have 3 weeks to go - selling the van and the car, guy comes round to see the van so Mark thinks he better top the rad up... when they arrive the radiator starts leaking, so they knocked him down on the price. Had someone coming round to look at my car.... drove it down the road and the Brake Pads warning light came on ! had to get them replaced quick - another £250! and we were ready to exchange on the house about 4 weeks ago and they said they would pull out if we didnt drop by another £20K - I must admit it seems like everything goes wrong and you start to wonder... is someone trying to tell us something? are we doing the right thing, My husband is a Corgi plumber - he wouldnt charge £4K for a new boiler - who condemed it - it wasn't British Gas was it ?

Hey....some good news!!!
heating system is 'only' gonna cost £3400 instead of £5k!!
And today was the best news yet......we've got tenants!!!!!!
They loved the house so much they signed for a minimum of 12 instead of 6 mths with a view to extend by another 12 next year
Just gotta sell the car now!!!!
