Nice to speak to a fellow DET 09'er.

Mine are saying there's no delay. I'm only bringing a few boxes, maybe 10 at most, so perhaps it's with crates? I'm going totally low budget and getting a door to port service, so I'll need to hire a car and get the stuff to the DET transport/shipping hub myself. Not a problem cos I'd be hiring a car to see things for a couple of days anyway. And, so long as the timing's right...

How much are you shipping over?

Hi Roamer

We're bringing a couple of pieces of furniture, pictues, some kitchenware,cd's, books and the wii. Have a 10year old but he's cool about getting rid of stuff although a box of lego is coming too. Guess it's a boy thing. We too are ariving pretty lightweight.

Will PM you with my email.

Nicki

hope this helps:D

I think they call this groupage, basically its sharing a container, but sometimes it can mean a wait to get enough to fill it!

We are doing the same, only minimal furniture, mostly TVs, computers, 7 sewing machines! etc,. and a whole truck load or art & craft stuff!

Been quoted £3500 and 10 - 14 weeks.
