Still costs a ton of money, and takes too long to get to UK though...

That said - our recent trip we came back with an extra suitcase we'd spent up big on everything that was *soooo* cheap.

We have had to transfer £8000 over to here -rate of 1.4645 with Ozforex.

Last lump sum of super to come over in July too - by then we may be on parity

I have already gained several hundred thousand pounds sterling on cash alone....it is getting very tempting especially as you are also likely to benefit from lower house prices as well.

We have also lost a lot on the value of our UK pensions so the balance is certainly starting to tip in favour of a return
