True but have you seen the taxes on Whisky in Norway? They'd soon want independence

Most North Scots (Northern Locations + Islands) are Voting YES. DUNDEE is voting YES.

The battlefield is in Glasgow/Edinburgh hence why SNP is out in massive canvasing.

If the poll was taken in Shetland, the NO would not stand a chance.

However, What is not being mentioned is that strangely, Scottish Labour in a new Independent Scotland (parliament) would be expected to become the major political party so Scottish Labour would still have influence albeit in a new country.

BBC News - RBS confirms London move if Scotland votes Yes

oh er!!!

Royal Bank of Scotland confirms it will relocate to London if Scotland votes for independence next week.

The bank said in a statement that it believed it would be "necessary to re-domicile the bank's holding company".

NEWCOMO - write to them quickly they clearly haven't seen your posts yet!

Corporation tax is generated on economic activity and not where the registered office is. Natwest is in England. RBS is in Scotland.

I dont think RBS branches will want to move from Scotland and lose Millions...

This is a point that the BBC is misreporting..

The point here is that RBS and other major financial institutions will not just be anxious baout tax / currency issues but the fact that the regulatory bodies and the financial backing of the BOE could be effected .. and RBS knows what it means to need a bail out fast !

Hey! What is the difference between an Independent Scotland according to NEWCOMO's vision and Jurassic Park?

Spoiler:
One is a fantasy dream world populated with creatures with a brain the size of a pea, whilst the other is a film
