Whats this thread trying to prove..??
All examples in this thread, can be experienced in any country .Italy doesnt own the patent.
Having worked in and with Italians, I have had no better or worse experience, when dealing with
UK, German, American,Spanish, Indian blah, blah services.
In fact in Italian shops, and at official status, until now no negatives. One situation that postively
suprised both my wife and I, was we bought some clothes from a market for my wife and children, then found out late that 4 from 7 different articals had some work and colouring failure.4hrs later we returned to the stall, and shown them the faults, the older couple and daughter, checked them
with no negative thoughts or argument, in fact very polite, agreed to exchange 3 immediately, the 4th, asked if we could make it to their stall in another village in 2 days.We did meet again and got
the exchange, plus an invite for cafe n cake, at their home.
Whats norm, or seen as a rarity, I dont care, its the individual moment I suppose.

Bought a light bulb out today. Didn't work. Took it back. Swapped it for a new one after signing my life away. Would they try the bulb. Of course, they would NOT!!! After all, it was only a 20 main drive if I needed to take it back again!

So Fastweb customer service department.....
Anyone know where it physically is located?
Oh and one more thing...anyone know whether throwing molotov cocktails is against the law here?

Re: Italian 'customer service'
I tried ringing the INAIL office all morning yesterday and just kept getting an engaged signal. Went on their website this morning to get the number to try again and found this:
A causa del protrarsi di disguidi tecnici inerenti i collegamenti telefonici, per contattare lo sportello di Schio è possibile utilizzare il numero provvisorio 0444-990401 oppure contattare la sede Inail di Vicenza che provvederà all’inoltro delle chiamate.
I rang that number and a recorded message told me that this number is no longer in service and the new one is ..........
I finally got through to a person who told me that school was wrong to tell me that I have to take a copy of Alex's pronto soccorso certificate to the INAIL office. A very nice lady explained that the hospital forwards infortunio certificates to them and that as long as school have their copy then I'm okay and don't have to do anything else and she checked her computer and Alex's certificate is already in their system.
I'm glad I rang up to check as one phone call has saved me from a totally useless and unncecessary trip to town.
