Re: Gay female looking for new friends in Milan!
Hi Sally, SirTK and KatyR, Thankyou for being so kind at least I can say the forum isn't full of silly individuals. I've had some nice PM's by some really helpful people, I didn't imagine it would turn into a debate but I guess when people are bored and have no life they'll use any excuse

Hi Nadine,
sorry I wasn't around the last few days to keep this thread on track for you.
Belt up you lot and either help Nadine or start another thread to debate words like gay, lesbian or homosexual.
Nadine, there is a gay group in Italy called Arcigay (see website link) and you might find that a lot of specific gay clubs will expect you to pay for this club card membership. It does last for 12 months and it lets you into all their places up and down the country. If I were you and ended up in a place where it's Arcigay membership only, I'd play the tourist card, produce your passport and ask if you can just pay entry fee for that one night.
This worked for me once when I went to a club in Verona with my friends. They got me in as a one-off tourist. I did end up getting the Arcigay card afterwards anyway as I went back a few times and couldn't keep pretending that I was only there for a quick holiday. Best music in town in that place and some of the friendliest people. The barman kept giving me free drinks when he discovered I was English and wanted me to explain a few grammar points to him lol .... and I met a great Australian with his Italian boyfriend.
I'm too far away from Milan to meet up but I hope you have a lot of fun.

Hi Lorna, thanks for your help chuck. I'm just on the link now and will certainly sign up, I did hear that you have to have a card to get into clubs but I will for sure play the tourist and still go ahead and order one anyway. I'm hoping they are as friendly in Milan as they are up North :-/ shame you're too far to meet up but I will let you know how I get on. I've been told to go to a place called rhabar....so Im going to check that out on the Saturday evening.
Thanks Again Lorna xxxx

Nadine in addition to what Lorna posted if you look at arcigay milano they have Sunday meetings for new people between 15.30 and 19.30 in Via Bezzecca 3, and on Sunday evening from 8.30pm at the PAPAYA Club in Via Fabio Massimo 36, Milano

Re: Gay female looking for new friends in Milan!
Hi Clint thankyou I will definitely check this out on Sunday, I am trying out Rhabar on Saturday, that's really useful information thankyou. Onnono and linseed oil not that I opened this thread to ask your opinion on the context of which the word gay is used or to ask anyones opinion on gay people (homosexual people if you prefer) in general, it's been noted, you've had your attention so shall we stop ranting now, I think we get what you mean, if you want to start ranting why don't you open your own thread instead of boycotting mine. I opened this thread, joined this website in fact to make new friends and socialise. You haven't made enough impact to even offend me so far but you are boring me now so whatever you want to write in future I'm not even going to even give clarity to your meaningless and unhelpful posts by responding. I have every faith you'll be booted off here soon anyway if you carry on so I'll leave you pair of bigots to it. Thanks

Re: Gay female looking for new friends in Milan!
Right - I have moved the posts that debate the meaning of "gay" to another thread.
Carry on in there and leave this thread alone please unless you have any helpful things to share with Nadine.
Thank you.
It might not make sense to everybody now, but the original people part of the thread know who they are and what they said - so it should make sense to you.

Oh God - moved to the wrong bleeding place now.
It's obviously too early for my brain after a long summer holiday.
Can the Europe Mod or a Super Mod please move it back as I can't touch it here in the Netherlands?
Thanks and sorry.

its all a cunning plan to stop posting, just keep moving it about untill all lose the will to follow it. Perhaps Singapore or Mongolia want it ??

well that is a more subtle approach than saying thread closed and you are all banned!

Hello KatyR, do you have any friends who are interested in a conversation exchange? In Como or Milano
