One of the first rules of good PR is to never announce the birth of a website until it is up and running.
Have any of you tried the trumpeted new Renzi site for the 1000 days programme. To me sounds a bit like 1000 days to Armegeddon. Even though I would like to give hime the benefit of the doubt, you can't help but laugh when an attempt to log on to the new site, or search for it, gives you sites connected with dyslexia.

Yeah either somebody else 'owns' the website with www or it's some type of DNS error. We should contact Renzi's IT administrator!

Sorry to be pedantic, but that isn't the problem. Quite simply a so-called second-level domain (which in Italy means an address such aaaaa.bbbbb.it) mustn't have the www, whereas a first-level domain (in italy aaaaa.it) needs it (at least with most browswers)

Lurking here for a few years I've seen a few people try to do that - none have succeeded, and thank God for that.
