Default Powerful lobby of tobacco multinationals.

For the second time today, have just seen a gross misrepresentation of electronic cigarettes.
It's blatantly false that they contain nicotine. It's up to you what flavour you inhale. Loads of non nicotine flavours available. Helped me to give up real cigarettes. Their use ought to be encouraged, not stigmatised. Bravo RAI and Philip Morris et al - not.

I agree with you ononno. I dont smoke but I tried my daughters mint flavour electronic cigarette and it was fun. I have NO desire to smoke and it didnt make me think of nicotine. I think its just another way for the government (heaven forbid) to tax yet another pleasure of the poor Jo public!!

I still think their use should be banned where normal cigarettes are also, especially in restaurants and shopping centres. I cannot remember if it's here as well as in the UK where they are banned in McDonald's.

We had a guy come for a meeting at work who just took his out and started inhaling on it! When I asked my OH if they did that at her place (a much larger company) she said only with familiar suppliers and collaborators but said our doctor used to smoke cigars in his morning surgery until they were banned!

Cigarettes were once recommended by Doctors. Patients with TBC were given ciggies to help them breath.

Interesting ononno, how long did it take you to give up real cigarettes?
