OMG That reminds me of a time, driving our hijack magnet 5 series beemer through Parktown once, looking for a dinner party address. It was dark, we see a fellow beemer in front, so when he pulls into his driveway, I think I'll stop and ask for directions. As we pulled over, just about to open my door, the other guy kaks himself throws his case to the ground, lunges back into his car and screeches away! Last time I ever stopped for directions I tell you, another guy might have shot at us!! Wouldn't have blamed him either in hindsight.

I wonder why Stanley is living in Melbourne or CAnberra instead of S.A. That is what I'd love to know.

The only reason I can think of is that he's in the diplomatic services.

No, you'd have to do two weeks in Gauteng.

Even better, drop me a line when you get back and I'll be off. (PS no hanging around in the green zone when you're there).

The real test would be to invite Iraqi immigrants/refugees to settle in SA. Would they jump at the chance? Are they in fact arriving en masse already?

Interesting question, I wonder what the answer would be?;)

If you can't get the city right, you've got no chance on the profession.
