I'm new to this - places I've lived . .
Born in London (Walthamstow)
Haverhill, Suffolk
Bahrain (middle east ) for 3 years
met hubby who was in the US Navy
Moved to Virginia (US)
Now live in Austin TX
I really want to live in Australia but I've noticed a lot of Brits live there a while then move again. Why is that?

I live in Texas (Hubby's American) but I want to live in Australia - we will probably migrate there as soon as I get my RN.

re- San Fran
What do you mean the rest of the US scares you, exactly?
Just wondering. I thought California in particular would be pretty scary - they seem to get away with loads there and there's always some fairly whacky news stories coming out of CA.
(I've never been there, so I'm just going on hearsay) My brother had to stay in San Fran for 2 weeks on business last year from the UK, and he said it seemed very pretty/touristy etc, but there were beggars on many corners and drug addicts in the parks.
- Tracy in Texas (I like TX, but ultimately wanna live in Australia)
