$2.91 yesterday when I filled up, $3.13 for premium. I filled up with premium, just because I could. Well, that and I want to prove that if your car isn't designed to run on premium, using it does nothing other than lower your mileage.

Not fair! I need to get to some your locations for the gas! The cheapest I saw was $3.29, but at 98% of the stations around here, it's $3.39. Heck, the town we work in just dropped, yesterday!, from $3.59 to $3.39.

I wonder if we still have that additive which is keepign the price up?

around here, a place just went down to $3.12 which I thought was really good...so filled the tank up, it was running on fumes though :D

hey Bob, not to sidetrack, but I thought of you yesterday.. called for the heating oil quote and almost fell out of my chair.. $3.00 per gal.
That's lower than August 20 ($3.77) and not as good as last fall ($2.65 --9/26/07). And just to make you cry, $2.02 on 9/25/06. (Yes I keep notes, what, you don't?)

Fingers crossed that they're not screwing you guys too badly out there.

PS: had the same experience with the gasbuddy.. the cheapo stuff is so far out of town to be not worth it)

hmm...it's a scary one, we looked into oil assistance, but stupidly enough they base if you qualify on your presious years salary...which is dumb, because I was working last year, and a couple of bucks over the threshold

Home heating oil futures are dropping fast due to the fact that hedge funds are having margin calls and having to sell the futures driving the price down. Today the November futures were down another 10% from a high of $4.10 in July to $2.26 today. By the end of the month, you should see a retail price of $2.50 or less so wait if you can.
