One step closer to turning your truck into a shed.

It's more so I can convince my wife to come camping with me as she won't camp in a tent... She also just said no to me spending $1500 on one (I got a quote of $2000 for a fancy Leer one and $1500 for a decent A.R.E one).

Better to ask for forgiveness and all that...

I saw something whilst travelling through backwoods Georgia this Christmas. Kind of similar to Pulaski's post but built entirely from OSB, that'd be less than 1500 bucks.

I wish I'd managed to get a pic, two fully camo'd up blokes in a scabby Ford Ranger with half a ton of refashioned Home Depot woodstuffs on top of it, proper redneckery.

I’d literally Venmo you $20 to witness that. Only in America!

Back home you get pulled over for having a 2x4 from Ridgeons sticking out the back of the car by an inch!

Participated in my first autocross this past weekend, what a scream.
Now to find another event.
Knocked 8 seconds off of my time over 8 runs.

Lol, thanks. We have a group of about 45 ex RN / RM guys here in the States.
We had them made for our group.

My licence plate is also RN related. (ROMFT) But you would have to google that, not printing it on here

Finally got round to taking my driving test this morning. Upon conclusion, I can see why everyone is pretty bad at driving if that was it! I took a vision, written, road sign and driving test and was finished and passed within 30mins, and drove for all of 10mins. Crazy.

My daughter took her test in an empty car park...5 mins tops.

We had a member whose daughter ran a red light during the test and still passed. She totaled the car the following week.

You guys don't live in Colorado do you?

I remember back in the U.K. there was this spoiled idiot I went to school with, rich as they come.

His first car, a gold (obviously) MK1 Audi TT. Had it 2 weeks, wrote it off.
Second car, some Mitsubishi Lancer thing, had it a few weeks... wrote it off.
Third car was a BMW 3 series, had it 2 months - ditched it in the snow.

It's worth noting all these cars were new too...

That was years ago, I'd love to know how many cars he's been through now!

Those tests do sound a bit over the top.

The tester just spoke to me about footy and the premier league, with a casual 'turn right here' etc now and again. Kinda felt like I was cruising about with a friend or something, rather than taking a test with a highway cop lol.

Mine was a piece of piss. I don't think it lasted more than 15 minutes, but all I did was head out of the test center, drive around residential streets for a bit, reverse around a corner (maybe a 3-point turn as well) and head back. Done. The instructor barely spoke to me, I think she was mad because I was stuck in right before 4:30, so she couldn't knock off early.
