It's not guilt by association. It's misleading but deliberate use of language to mislabel and vilify people who are not leftists or liberals, and don't go along with the PC line trumpeted by the MSM. We have CNN piped into our dining room at work. It's revolting.

Last weekend in Berkeley, Calif., a group of neo-communist antifa — “anti-fascist” — thugs attacked peaceful protesters at a “No to Marxism in America” rally, wielding sticks and pepper spray, and beating people with homemade shields that read (I kid you not) “No Hate.” The Post reports how one peaceful protester “was attacked by five black-clad antifa members, each windmilling kicks and punches into a man desperately trying to protect himself.” Members of the Berkeley College Republicans were then stalked by antifa goons who followed them to a gas station and demanded they “get the [expletive] out” of their car, warning, “We are real hungry for supremacists and there is more of us.”

The organizer of the anti-Marxism protest is not a white supremacist. Amber Cummings is a self-described “transsexual female who embraces diversity” and had announced on Facebook that “any racist groups like the KKK [and] Neo Nazis . . . are not welcome.” The protest was needed, Cummings said, because “Berkeley is a ground zero for the Marxist Movement.”

As if to prove Cummings’s point, the antifa movement responded with jackboots and clubs — because their definition of “fascist” includes not just neo-Nazis but also anyone who opposes their totalitarian worldview.

Get some perspective. A couple of hundred idiots in a country of 330,000,000.

What's the biggest aberration from the last century? The Nazis, right?
Wrong. They killed 25,000,000. Communism has killed well over 100,000,000 but somehow it's cool to be a communist. Like the idiot Target worker with his Che t-shirt. Right on, bro!

There are reasons for this, a significant one being that the Nazis were defeated in a definitive manner. The machine was taken down, and the images demonized. The leaders were brought to trial very publicly, and executed. A line was drawn under the matter.

Communism just simmered away for 70 years, with its relentless killing not really publicized. The gulags, the starvation. Useful Idiots. Potemkin Village.

Do yourselves a favour: get hold of the Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression. It's written by five French academics (former communists and socialist) and it describes the evil that is communism in horrific and fascinating detail.

Its two-flag logo, designed by Association of Revolutionary Visual Artists members Max Keilson and Max Gebhard, remains a widely symbol of militant anti-fascism.
