Hi,
You can add us to the list as well. I am really not expecting to hear anything until at least this time next year and then I'd only be expecting a med request. We're seriously starting to think that Oz may be a better option. At least their immigration system seems quicker and more efficient

N 16. Btw, CIC reminds me of gyms in January - buzzing with activities of enthusiastic people motivated by recently renewed New Year's resolutions, but come February, and you can study for exams in their tranquillity

I don't know where we are in the queue ( if it is a queue in fact ) whether we will ever be processed but we're still waiting, sometimes patiently but mostly with anger and frustration
Wish us all the luck, we will never give ay!
for medicals for us all on the old list........

Have pulled out but had a bit of good news today, hubbie has been offered a job with an lmo so fingers crossed we will get there soon, only pulled out as we need to be there for sept so son can do last year of high school,he has done all his gcse's and needs to either start collage here in sept or finish schooling out there. All comes down to timing

FSW Cat 2 has taken us 16 months so far and we are still waiting for the visas to come through in our passports.
My OH only got given a 1 year LMO and so a 1 year TWP, so we had to go through the worry of him having to renew his LMO after 1 year and the very real possibility that it might be rejected and then he would have had to return to the UK.
I would think very carefully about committing to relocating your family unless you have at least two years on your LMO and TWP if you are going to apply through FSW Cat 2.
You could apply for PNP instead if that is a possibility for you - this gives you implied status until the PNP nomination and subsequent PR app is decided.

We got fed up waiting back in September and came out on an impromptu reccie trip.
we made the decision to commit to a move to NS, get work permits and start living here whilst waiting for FSW.
After returning n October we finally got our work permits this January, the LMO was quick enough, the employer didnt rush to do anything to get it in though.
Anyway we are happy we made the commitment to come right back and have no regrets.

28,415 of us according to CIC, not bad considering they only can issue 17,500 visas a year!
