No, not 8 places, 8 'nasties' from the list. I can confirm being under 60degF (whatever the hell that is - if it's around zero centigrade I've felt it) and over 93deg F (whatever the hell THAT is but my oh tells me it gets well over 100 here.....) mosquitoes check. wind check. severe lack of rain () oh yes. Check. Earthquakes here or hereabouts (though never felt one myself) check. Snow, fog, easypeasy. That's 8 without moving a muscle.

Ah. Well I estimate our range here to be from about 3ºC* to around 40º.... though today, Nov 13, it's a pleasant 16ish here & will easily get to 24 2,500ft lower, down at the coast!

*though of course 6 years ago it got to -10ºC & all but killed the lemon tree
