... but yeah offering 'silly money' makes no sense to me. In my case I wonder if the did it just to insult you ?! ... lol. I mean who is gonna accept a lower offer? ...
As to being there soon, well we all have medicals next week and if they don't require anything extra, we're getting close, but still the actual visa to apply for!
I've got a few criminal convictions which I'm worried about. Nothing major and silly stuff really, and nothing for 15/16 years but you never know!
Gotta fit it all in before exchange of contracts too as no visa and no house aint much cop is it!
Best of luck with your sale tho. They DO reckon January is a good tiem to be selling! ...

Cheers for that altho I've only done time for 1 of the murders I've commited ...

Naaah, I'm fairly confident as I say it's minor offences and have been a good boy for ages ...
I've been in touch with Pollyana the mod who works checking criminal records and she doesn't feel I have anything to worry about, but untill you get your visa you just can't be 100%!

Paul2004 - was the conviction for extortion? You have to realise that you are in the midst of a falling UK housing market. All the best in OZ though.
