Don't know about Melbourne but I've just paid $7850 from Sydney to Wales. Plus insurance of 3.5%. That was for 20 foot container.

I think will just send airfreight now - left it too late and the removal company will sort out for me.
Looks like I'll be working up until packing day so just no time to do it any other way.

Thanks! Kids have made decision themselves really and he's not a complete git that would stop them coming. Fortunately he earns a good salary so will be able to see them quite often.
