I arrived here via BC PNP... see my timeline at the bottom of my post, but it took about 6 months in total. Have a look on the BC PNP website for a list of jobs that qualify.

After lots of badgering by my employer in Canada I finally received mine a few days ago - 12 weeks after applying.

1) Provincial office where applied: BC
2) Date when application was POSTED: Saturday 21 June 2008 (in Vancouver)
3) Date when they received the application: about a few days later!...

Just checked my bank account today and they have taken the money for my application. At least that's a step in the right direction!! :D

Just received an email from the PNP people:

"The standard processing time is 4 to 6 weeks. However, due to a recent increase in applications, the current processing time is approximately 8 to 12...
