Naturally I eschewed the silly coffeee porter for a pint of hawks head drystone stout and a cheese plate. Which, this, not being Canada, didn't cost an arm and leg.

I did. Stuck with a Railway Porter from Five Points Brewing Co & Bunny Hop a Pale Ale from Purity brewing. Nicely crisp and a little bit hoppy without being stupidly overpowering.

I’m in my favourite London Camra-meets hipster pub. This beer on their “in the cellar” board sums up all that I think is wrong with “craft beer” 😀

To clarify, I'm familiar with the process of lining up half poured pints of guiness for topping up when needed. IME its still chilled/cool by the time ones drinks it. If it were room temp it wouldn't...

Regular Guiness is chilled/cold - and that's the way I've drunk it in Dublin! Never drunk the "Extra Cold" stuff in the UK. Too damn cold, tastes of nothing.

Yes, their Red Ale (not a fan) and their coffee porter (like). They're output seems to be a bit variable as one seldom finds their product in the liquor stores. Perhaps it all sells quickly - I know...
