Re: The Beer thread
No its not the strength, its just something about it.... like whiskey is to some people...in particular Rye.... ive met a few people in Canada that say Rye does some strange things to them.....I think Stella is the same. Its as though it changes a persons personality.......the do call it the demon drink....but there is always one type of drink that will do it for an individual and change them.

Re: The Beer thread
I would agree with that for the most part, but on more than one occasion when I have drank a considerable quantity of Stella, I have become more outspoken, and maybe even a little out of character, nothing too extreme...but the type of behaviour that is just not me, So I will limit myself to 2 pints of it now, and then drink something else.

I'm on a no booze limit until 23rd or is it the 22nd of November? Anyway the night the Ashes starts here.

Re: The Beer thread
I did. Stuck with a Railway Porter from Five Points Brewing Co & Bunny Hop a Pale Ale from Purity brewing. Nicely crisp and a little bit hoppy without being stupidly overpowering.

Re: The Beer thread
No booze. It’s a weird phenomenon. What are you meant to do with yourself of an evening, weekends, lunchtimes, meetings, visiting HID’s mother, being awake? And what about long road trips? Surely you get an exemption on those, especially if you’re on your own?
