The town has cleared some of the pavements on the main road, well down one side of the street to the cross walk, then continuing on from across the street.

The levels of snow usually isn't so much of a problem. It's getting that level in a day that usually is.

High winds and floodings aren't great for folks with no power where sumpumps don't work....

Roads were still really shit this morning and amused by how little pavements have been tended to.

Meant to get them cleared within 3 hours of storm ending in Boston...didn't see to much taken care...

We got lucky, chap next door helped clear our drive way with his massive snow blower. We'd never have cleared the wall at the end of the drive where we had gotten ploughed in from the road.

Aye, about 3 feet of snow here and another foot or two in drifts.

We can't see our picnic table in the garden.

Can't actually open the door to get out for that matter :/

It's still snowing, coming down sideways, which is a little weird.

Something like 250K people are without power in New England the last report said.

Glad the missus was able to get a ride home because there's at least a couple of inches of snow out and the town so far hasn't done anything about it. The roads were horrid.

So it's a statewide ban for non emergency workers/ploughs/municiple folks, from 4pm.

$500 fine and potentially a year jail time.

Boston has gone barmy.

Driving ban from 4pm today, penalty if caught on the roads after include fines and potentially a year in jail.

It started the minute we got home from the grocery shop, around 9:30 ish and just came down hard from the get go.

Weather folks still saying we're expecting 17" by the end of day and another 11"...
