It's been snowing for several hours. The flakes are tiny...so although it's snowing quite heavily we only have about an inch so far. It's supposed to turn to ice rain in a couple of hours...then this afternoon/through the night we are expecting a heavy snowfall.

Snowing in Toronto...roads are very quiet...she is working from home today. My daughter and husband are driving down here next Friday...thank goodness they aren't coming this weekend.

Very light dusting here right now. Roads are still clear and dry. Nothing going on yet.

Cake levels are holding steady at around 50% of peak supply.

It started the minute we got home from the grocery shop, around 9:30 ish and just came down hard from the get go.

Weather folks still saying we're expecting 17" by the end of day and another 11" tomorrow.

We'll see.

Still (almost) nothing here... I'm suprised as you and I normally seem pretty much in sync weather-wise.

Roads still clear... Fine, tiny snowflakes falling.

Coming down steadily, but very lightly, here -- about an inch so far. My OH heard on the radio that it was perhaps not going to be as bad as originally forecast, but the state weather website is sticking to its up to 26 inches estimate, so they're all guessing, as usual.

It's very fine snow, so it's not amounting to much....half a inch, maybe a smidge more?

E Cake levels are ok, but there has been a dramatic reduction in the amount of E Cheesecake on hand in the last 20 minutes!

Boston has gone barmy.

Driving ban from 4pm today, penalty if caught on the roads after include fines and potentially a year in jail.

The pike will be toll free after 2pm though :/

The missus is getting a ride home from a friend as they're done at 2, so at least we don't have to go out and get her in our weedy car.

Just said on our local TV news that all cars are banned from midday in Boston.

Roads are messy up here and school was cancelled last night. Hoping we don't lose power, entertaining three children without it is not fun. Now off to check my wine supply...
