I'm not negative, just curious as to what Bute is all about from a non-tourist standpoint & that any negatives in terms of climate, local government, crime, demographics from a local such as yourself...

the difference being that you'd never see blue sky or the sun, just that its mainly overcast, cloudy & miserable climate for most of the year.

I'd take the North American deep freezing 'brisk'...
