I had a similiar incident a while ago. Apparently I was different as well. She was a dumb hick and the comment did not suprise me. This was at the lunch table at work.

My point is the use of the language to dismiss legitimate points in a flippant and derogatory manner is irritating. Not difficult to understand Mr Rolleyes. Context is important not my nationality....

Personally I have no need to use the word and I find it is used by the ignorant who like to lump all southern mediteraneans into one group. I doubt HR would like the use of the word and there are...
