yes, sorry, I overlooked one solitary post about this nightmare before I made my post. I still think that if this had happened in a British airport it would have brought the UK-bashers out in force

I didn't see any mention of this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7957863.stm) in the Barbie this morning. I'm sure if something similar happened at LGW or LHR they'd be all over it.

you're wrong about that by almost a factor of 3 - UK population density is 246 people per square mile
