I would say no, if the U300 was never imported then there is no NHSTA / DEQ standard to comply to similar to the 1993 110 V8 situation. Defender 90s were imported over various years but that does...

When the Discovery with the 200tdi engine was introduced it hit 110 sales.


Very few 110s were manufactured in the early 90s. The late 1990 models with the 200tdi and lhd are the ones bringing...

It should not be loaded on the vessel till it is 25 years old. It can be rejected if it turns 25 years during the voyage.


I did look at becoming an RI but there are so few 1993 V8 lhd 110s...

I did not know anyone had actually brought in a 110 and had it modified to comply using an RI (Registered Importer).
As around 512 were imported in 1993 the only 110 you could import would be a 1993...

The duty is calculated on the value on the bill of sale.
You will need a bill of sale as part of the documentation needed to make the booking.
Shipping from Germany to the UK then to the USA will...

My price was based on the weight and dimensions of a soft top 110 Land Rover the truck you are looking at looks heavier and larger so is probably me more expensive.

As explained in your other post you can not mix cargo and RORO, better to separate the shipments.
Wallenius Willhelmson ship from Bremerhaven to Baltimore RORO and ACL were shipping from Hamburg....

A Series box has much wider pattern than a Defender LT77 of R380 and is very easy to drive.
We have a Lightweight that a lot of children have learnt to drive in. In low range in is almost impossible...

Picked it up, fees on this side were $700 includes duty, customs clearance, ISF filing, bond charges and a couple of other small items

You can import a vehicle without the engine but it is classed as " an assemblage of parts " and can not be titled.
Personally I would not import a car with the correct engine in the back, I could...

Clutch failure in a Defender is common, it may be a master or slave cylinder or the clutch pushrod has gone right through the operating arm, either way an easy fix.
