Re: What's for dinner?
One of those most memorable moments I recall some years back going into a well-known American chain restarant in KL, we hadn't given it much thought until Mr Bo-Jangles tried to order thpse babyback pork ribs that had tempted us in there. Despite the menu and the pictures in the window, they were not available.

The difference between being a tourist and living there I guess, I have been to Malaysia quite a few times over the years and always left hanging out for some pork sausages and bacon sarnie after a couple of weeks of 'beef bacon' and chicken sausages.

Re: What's for dinner?
last night was day before pay day with $4 left in the bank and what appeared to be nothing to eat but random bits in the fridge...ended up with pasta bake consisting of leftover roast chicken, going wrinkly capsicum, nearly past its best spring onion, wrinkly mushrooms, cauliflower & garlic & sundried tomatoes with a sauce cobbled together of a bit of leftover creme fraiche, milk, dijon mustard and single cream. then sprinkled with some leftover Camembert and grated colby.
It aint half amazing what you can come up with when you raid all the crap that's left in the fridge! Was quite pleased with the end result!

Probably not. I'm not sure why it's called Mountain style... probably comes from the Spanish hills I suppose. It's got herbs and paprika and stuff in it. It was rather tasty. <Apologies to BEVS for the duck >
I love Chilli (con carne). I could eat that every week.
