Re: I-751 (2007 Only)
Ok, here's ours:
7-16-07 I-751 mailed to NSC for David (was K-1) & Chris (was K-2)
7-18 Received
8-1 Received letter dated 7-25 (from Lincoln, NE) that I-751 has been rejected and to "see attachment". Nothing returned with the letter.
8-4 Received I-751 packet and rejection letter (from Laguna Niguel, CA): Chris must submit his own petition since he is now 21 or over.
8-13 Mailed petitions/fees for both David & Chris to NSC
8-16 NSC received
9-7 Checks cashed
9-10 Both NOAs received, from CSC
9-13 Biometrics NOAs received, appointment 9-29
9-29 Biometrics
10-2 Entered case #s for online tracking (case was received 9-4 at CSC for processing)
11-17 10-yr GC production ordered for David; no update for Chris
11-20 David: touched; Chris: still no update
11-21 online: Approval notice sent 11-20; Chris: still no update
11-23 David's 10-yr GC received from CSC; Chris: still no update
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not sure why we were required to submit a separate petition and fee for Chris since I have known several others that included their over-21 children on their I-751s successfully but since we were close to their deadlines I bit the bullet and did it. I doubted I would win the argument anyway.
Default I-751 VSC approval - 6 month timeline
Just wanted to share that I received a letter in the mail today from VSC stating that my case has been approved and that I should get my green card within 60 days. Oddly enough my case status online has not been updated since my application was received so I didn't get an email update, but I'm not complaining
I sent my application in on May 18, so it's almost exactly 6 months....seems like quite a few VSC approvals recently have had similar timelines.
Re: I-751 (2007 Only)
Hey kbf, regarding the post that you just received your approval today. My receipt date is May 24, 2007 and I see that yours is May 18. I got RFE notice in October and we replied (they received the additional evidence on Nov 6th). Now we are just waiting for an approval. How is it that your status was not updated online? I take it that you signed up for the email notification but didn't receive an email stating that your case status has changed or approved? I also have signed up for email notification. I check online EVERYDAY! I don't know what's taking so long.
Re: I-751 (2007 Only)
Filed Jointly - 2year GC expires 9/29
Sent I-751 July 23 2007 (USPS certified)
Package received at Texas SC 7/27 (USPS return receipt arrived 8/17!)
Check cashed 8/21 (old fee $275.00)
NOA with 1 year CPR extension - received 8/24 (2 identical copies in 2 envelopes)
btw the NOA(s) came from California SC, not Texas.
From previous posts, it looks like Bio appt letter might be close on the heels of the NOA, lets hope:-)
Rich.
Re: I-751 (2007 Only)
Is here anybody with I-751 filed with NSC in January or February '07 who was already approved?
I filed mid-January of this year. I didn't hear anything from NSC although the web site shows processing time January 27th.
