An Airstream is a thing of beauty, a design classic. A toy hauler on the other hand is a monstrosity on wheels

@ Stinkypup

Could you get one that blends in with the surroundings. Like a Police Box sometimes.

No matter the form, camping in British Columbia is one of life's most treasured experiences.

Don't you have by-laws stopping that kind of thing? I know many towns / cities won't allow 'oversize' vehicles to be parked on driveways etc.

Apparently here you are able to park vehicles or trailers up to 29 feet long ...weirdly not one but twoon your property. At least that stops the Massive coach like class As from parking next to your back door

A house over the back of us has an RV parked on their drive, but only in the summer. I'm mildly interested where it is the rest of the time.

From our angle, and through the trees, you have to look closely to work out whether it's the side of the RV you see or the side of the house.

We have a drive we don't use as none of us are drivers. One of our regular taxi drivers was interested in "renting" it to park his RV as there was no space for it in his apartment building lot. There didn't seem to be a 'specific' bylaw against it when I checked.

No, no by laws against huge vehicles. You can't let your grass grow longer than 8 inches but you could park a cube truck on your driveway.

Mississauga.ca - Planning and Building - Trailer and Recreational Vehicle Parking
Oversized Motor Vehicles

There seems to be a fair few others

Why would anyone care if an RV or trailer was parked in a driveway next door?

I can't say I would ever care if my neighbor has an RV or trailer parked in their driveway.

That would be good, a cloaking device- but instead, disguise a monstrous fifth wheel as an Airstream

The Furry Freak Brothers were lucky enough to find a vintage Phutney-Creech Land Yacht:

You would have to see what happens around here outside day to day to understand..,I meant that vehicle would be an improvement to some of the things seen in this area.

I wouldn't want to own or operate one...
