Which of these would be correct?

Thanks!
You can pay online. Here's my receipt from 2012 as an example.

I think the first time most people hear, including me, is when the sponsor is approved. Check the processing times that are advertised. If you are over the current posted times, it's not unreasonable to send an email off. Things slow down over Christmas though, so I'm sure you'll hear soon :-)

Check CIC's processing times, I think timing for sponsor approval is up at 80 days or something right now, the site says "working on applications received on x date", and I'd guess that that date is well before when you applied. Also, look at the spreadsheet (that's why it's there...), people who applied more than a month before you still haven't heard, so just sit tight.

Congrats, glad you got it! I've updated you on the spreadsheet. Happy landing! (And be sure to read the Wiki articles about landing!)

My husband received his COPR today! Huge surprise as we are not even "in process" in ECAS.

Spreadsheet updated. I put the request date as yesterday, pleas advise if this is not the case.

Crazy! Spreadsheet updated! You had no idea you had got DM and then the COPR arrived?

Exactly! ECAS is still "application received" for the second stage. We had a request for an updated paper mid-December and sent it back the same day, and had pre-paid the landing fee, but had expected it to be a couple months at least, so it was a huge (though of course very exciting) surprise!

Congratulations, a long wait over

Hopefully our May application will be coming soon

When you say landing fee, what's this for, hoping it doesn't apply to us? Pure paranoia here !!!

Sorry for the confusion, meant the right of permanent residence fee.

And thanks everyone for the kind words! This forum has helped so much with all the waiting!
