Decision made! things have moved quickly for us, so now our timeline looks like this:
App received in Mississauga 23 May. Sponsor approved around 17 July. Decision made this week, now just need to wait for something in writing before we give notice at work.
Good luck to everyone who is waiting!

Donethe signature for you and all to see. just one question, where you have stated in process, is that the info on the e-cas. whereas mine only says application received, but when i look at the information guide (clickable link below) for out side application, it translates it as to be in the process stage. hope that made sense.

Hey all. So currently applying for my common law sponsorship with my Canadian girlfriend - Outland - although I am English and we are currently living together in Canada. How do I answer "Have I visited my sponsor" under the 'Maintaining contact' section ...we have been living together since I arrived in Canada on a working holiday visa? I have since activated my second WH visa (IEC scheme). We met in London prior to my moving over here.
Do I say yes and that I came over on this visa even though it's not a visitor visa? It's a little one size fits all for this set of questions!

Hi Mark,
my boyfriend and i were in the same situation, we explained that we had been living together for X amount of time, he came on a work visa etc, and since his work permit expired he has remained in Canada as a visitor.
Some of the questions can seem difficult to answer, as they have to cover a multitude of answers/situations, so just explain that you're living together etc and all will be good
Good luck!

Looks like there's a bunch of people ahead of me in the spreadsheet who haven't gone 'in process' yet...though they may not have updated yet. They sent their app packs to CPC-M in April, as oposed to May with me. I checked the web yesterday morning and it was listed as 'Application Received' but by 7pm last night had changed to 'in process'.

My timeline is similar and I recon if I had payed the ROPR fee when I applied and they hadn't requested an extra form then I'd be getting a decision nowish aswell. But alas, now it looks like I'll be waiting another month.
