www.wiggle.co.uk

For running, cycling, swimming, outdoors etc they offer very competitive prices, and offer free shipping to Aus

e.g a pair of Asics Gel Kayano 17's here in Sydney cost $250 upwards

Wiggle price is $156

Yep, I used to order a LOT of bike gear when I was back in the UK. They were very prompt on delivery then. I haven't actually tried them internationally yet, but I would be suprised if they aren't pretty efficient.

There's an extra $15 reduction code I have too but it expires today (8th)

My son is looking at buying a new bicycle from his recent earnings so becoming aware of this site is very well timed.

I've just taken a look at this one which is typical of the one he'll go for:

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/giant-seek-2-2011/
£357 at Wiggle (with "40% off")

Giant's RRP in in Aus is $949 but some cheeky git retailers over here are selling it for $1099
http://www.bicyclesinc.com.au/bike-c...nt-seek-2-2011

I see Wiggle has quite a few Raleigh bikes too. Several years ago you couldn't beat Raleigh so we bought one the year before last. Turns out it was a heap of rubbish so wont go near that brand again.

Have a look at Chain Reaction Cycles too:

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/

Another online retailer I used to use who also deliveer to Aus (although again, I haven't tried them over here):

Chain Reaction Cycles are pleased to offer FREE SHIPPING to any destination in Australia on orders over £250 GBP(approx 412.5 AUD)*. For Australian customs purposes all orders under 1000AUD are free from GST or any duty charges. For orders under 250GBP in value we still offer great value discounted shipping rates. Delivery is normally within 5-7 working days.

I lived in Cape Town for three years, and a lot of cyclists used CRC to order kit that was vastly overpriced in ZA. They always had good feedback on CRC...

Some interesting comments about ordering from Amazon Spain, Germany etc. Seems like they are more open to it than Amazon UK.

It seems like deals of the day only? Clicked on the graysonline.com link - following the genius model of 'buy online pick up in store' once again at ludicrous prices. I love the way Australian retailers believe themselves immune to technological change, globalization and forex fluctuations. That stubborn 'King Canute' arrogance......

Sure, they are going to have to wake up or get nuked - especially now that overseas websites are advertising on Aussie radio. I was referring more to the fact that Amazon Spain and Germany will ship electrical stuff to Australia.

My favorite trainer site is http://www.crookedtongues.com and they have started free global postage. They have a couple of pairs of Vans reduced, or plenty of other brands in stock. They often have some very nice stuff in the sale; I picked up a pair of sky blue Adidas Forum low's for 25 quid last year.

Yes. Thanks for pointing that out! I'm after a pretty pink dualit toaster!

3 sites on my favourites list: Wiggle, Ribble, Chain Reaction - Usually end up buying from all 3, as each have their own 'best' prices. Ribble probably gets the nod overall, especially for road stuff.
