Okanagan Forum - Access Okanagan Services (A-OK)
http://www.accessokanagan.com
Hi there!
We run a local community/research forum, assisting people visiting or potentially relocating to the Okanagan Valley here in British Columbia, Canada. You will find plenty of local area residents already on board, as well as new arrivals from other parts of Canada and around the world. We have dedicated sections on the forum, including Research, Where Can I Find?, Employment, Real Estate & Leisure, built from our members questions, concerns and research into the area.
The forum covers all areas of the Okanagan Valley including Kelowna, Vernon & Penticton (plus smaller communities such as Westside, Lake Country, Peachland etc.)
Our current group of people are a mix of long time locals, newcomers & people in the process or researching the Okanagan. Everyone is here to help supply visitors/new residents with good quality feedback & advice.
The forum is completely FREE!! ... so if you are heading to the Okanagan, make us your first stop!

British Expat Meetup Group Toronto
http://www.meetup.com/brit-7/
A monthly get together of fellow Brits from the length and breadth of the UK. Young(e) and old !
The Toronto Expat Brit Meetup Group is purely a social meetup of individuals. Ranging from Brits who are 'New to TO' all the way through to the offspring of Brit parents.
(If you fear you are losing your accent or just want to refresh your sense of humor this group works wonders!)
Events are arranged at one month intervals, and we change the location to a different Toronto pub/bar for a change in scenery. Each event is generally a 50/50 split of first timers along with regular attendees dropping in now and then.
Usual topics of conversation are the usual cliché food/drink/t.v./sense of humour difference's. Over the years long lasting friendships have been forged.
