Just a quickie, once you have your qualifications in hairdressing and then have 900 hours work experience, i understand you can apply to TRA for assessment. But how many years experience do you require before you can then apply for a skilled visa (175). I have done a search but i can't find anything, except for 12 out of 24 months. Also what is the UK equivalent of the "AQF level 3".
Sorry if this has all been answered before

Hi, the 900 hrs is only for your college training, you also need a informal or formal apprenticeship, plus at least 4 years qualified in hairdressing before you apply.

Thanks for the reply, i have e-mailed TRA so hopefully will get a definite answer as to what is required. Australia is quickly becoming a distant dream, always come up agaianst a locked door at the moment no matter which visa i look at.
