Can anybody tell me if they know the rules/tax issues if you are employed as a UK employee and therefore paid and taxed in UK but are in fact living in Oz? Sorry if somebody has already asked this question, but I did try to search.

The questions that need to be answered are:
* How long have you been in Australia?
* When do you plan on leaving Australia
* Are you considered to be an Australian tax resident, temporary or non resident for taxation purposes?
* Generally you will need to lodged a UK tax return to claim the tax paid in the UK? You may need to include this income in Australia however this is dependent on your residency taxation status, a foreign tax credit can be claim for the taxes paid.
