Hello Everyone,

After spending 8 months in Lisbon and looking hopelessly for an office job, I returned back to London, to my old job in an American Bank as a Personal Assistant.

Now that my fiancée (he has a contact in Lisbon and can be extended always) has bought a beautiful flat in Expo that I want to go back to Lisbon to live with him there. During my 8 months, I went to Lisbon University to learn the language and I am conversational in Portuguese. To earn money, I danced, done extra work on soap operas but nothing with regular income came up. Now again, from London I am desperately looking for a job in Lisbon.

I know the market in Lisbon is very small, and very limited foreign companies there but I am absolutely ready to do anything in an office, typing, administration etc..

Can anyone give me ideas ideas, or if there are expats out there working in Lisbon I can happily e-mail my cv.

I completely understand your situation. I also find myself in the same one! I've been in lisbon for a few months now (I've come from London to live with my boyfriend) I'm learning Portuguese too...getting the hang of it now..

I am very interested to find out how you got involved in tv extra work...I've been trying to look for something like that. Do you think you could give me some details? I would relly appreciate it.

Are you meeting lots of people...it's really hard moving from everything you know and family and friends.

It would be nice to keep in contact and hear from you, I have a feeling we may be interested in the same stuff...possibly! I hope you've had some luck and found a job.
