Talking occupational therapy

i just started my degree in occupational therapy and hoping to move to the usa after. i was wandering how easy it will be for me to get a job and is occupational therapist in demand in the us.

Very easy if your lucky ..all medical staff are always in short supply

Hi

Just cruising round the site and came across your thread. I'm an OT too and am moving to Canada.

You would have absolutely no problem getting a job in the USA as an OT - there is a big demand, altho' I would prrobably recommend getting a bit of experience under your belt in the UK after graduating before going to work elsewhere - just starting to work as an OT in a country where you are familiar with the healthcare system is daunting enough! I'm continually pestered by e-mails from US recruitment agencies re working there.
