Default moving to perth as a welder

Hi all were moving to perth round about sept/oct time. Myself has already been sponsored by hospital out there going through 457 visa. OH is a welder to trade. What does he have to do prior to leaving scotland that will enable him to continue with his trade/job on arrival. Anyone looking for welders out there!!!!

My OH is a welder and he seems to be doing a lot of flux core work at the moment along with MIG, TIG etc. As previously stated there are always positions coming up in the Kwinana Industrial area. Also there are a few of the mines up north doing FIFO if hes interested in that.
Any other information I can help with just yell and I (sorry OH) will try and help out.

Lynne

Does he have to go through the TRA that i read about on this website or is that for 1st class welders only. what is the difference between a 1st and 2nd class welder apart from the amount they can earn
