I'm looking for a job as a pharmacist in Nepal.. If anyone has anything, please let me know.. I've tried to look for pharmacies on the net and send them my letter of application and my c.v but i can't find any on the internet... i've found a pharmacy directory at http://www.drugdelivery.ca/xx-NP-09-...-Pharmacy.aspx but there are no pharmacies available.. please help me if you can.. i'm really desperate now.

I just came across your inquiry. I have lived for 15 years in Nepal. Pharmacies in Nepal are in no way what we as Westerners would assume. The whole biz is unregulated. True, there are some pharmacies in Katmandu and Patan with more or less professional personnel but the vast majority is run by ordinary people with no special education. And most of all, you would not earn much.

Nevertheless, Nepal is a wonderful place to live if they would only kick out the WHOLE bunch of politicians.
