Hi, I am filling out my tra assessment form and wonder if anyone can help with the training section. Does anyone have a link yo the syllabus for the city and guilds 706/1/2? I cant seem to find it online and dont want to pay for replicas.

Also with on the job training how detailed should it be?

Hello James, welcome to the chef forum!! Cheffy wife here - chef's working. Dave didn't include the syllabus with his TRA. He just detailed the things he learned as part of the courses (he cribbed syllabuses from current college courses). His statements were really quite detailed (some up to 3 pages) but he did this because most of the places had changed hands or gone out of business. Where are you planning on going? We didnt send the official syllabus either - we did a stat dec detailing what was included in the course, what equipment he is trained to use.... etc
