Dear expatriate,

As part of my master thesis for the master in Business Studies at the University of Amsterdam I am conducting a research. Currently I am looking for expatriates who are sent by their organization to a foreign country to accomplish a job or an assignment for a temporary time period of at least six months.

In case you are an expatriate as described above then I would really appreciate if you would fill in an online survey. It will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes of your time. Your responses will be kept in absolute confidence, and they will be used for research purposes only. Below you will find the link to the survey:

In addition to a group of expatriates it is important that a group of domestic employees fills in the survey. Therefore I would like to ask you if you could send the link to the survey to a colleague in your home country. This is, however, optional but you will help me a lot.

I forgot to describe the purpose of my research.

My research is about the question if relevant earlier international experience and the scope of a social network (within the organization) of an employee can predict whether he or she will be expatriated to a foreign country.
