Default Carpenter/Joiner work in Perth??

Does anybody have any idea what the work situations like for chippies at the mo and for the next year or so? We are just about to put in our TRA and have been reading posts from last year, but cant find anything recent!!

We are hoping to head NOR, but obviously realise that OH will have to travel a distance to find work- is it best just to go to sites and say hello and maybe go from there?? OH has been chippie for 22 years, with training, so hope work wont be too hard to find!

Any ideas gratefully received!!
