Wellington
Hi,
First time posting here. I am a teacher in the uk and have just been offered a job in a very prestigious school in Wellington. The job comes with a lot of responsibility and I know they have tried and failed to recruit twice in NZ hence me getting the job offer.
There is just me and my husband and he is a welder. First off, what type of visa will he be able to work on? Secondly, are there many welding jobs available in Wellington - those type of jobs are rarely advertised and more of a word of mouth/who you know thing at least that's the case here in the uk.
Any other hints/tips/bits of advice are greatly appreciated 😀

Re: Wellington
Good morning and welcome to BE
What a nice offer for employment you have received. Might I direct you to the New Zealand forums for your questions regarding living there, employment for your spouse and other immigration questions you might have.
Lots of lovely and helpful people there who will be more than happy to lend assistance.
Good luck with your move and again, welcome.
