Hi, Ive just joined this forum today in the hope to find some brits!!i live in Yagoona NSW, and have been here for a while now...ive made some really good friends here but would love to meet ppl from UK.

First of all welcome to BE. :sunglasses:

We have a forum dedicated to expats living and working in Australia, which would be well worth checking out as there are definitely some other Brits in your neighbourhood who post on there, and many of the expats in Oz rrange met ups as well.
You will fnd the Australia forum by clicking on the 'FORUM INDEX' tab on the top left of this page. Scroll down the list of countries until you find the title Australia - double click on that and you're in.
I would recommend you write a little introduction in the section called 'The Barbie', and I m sure before long you will be chatting with others for that vital 'Brit fix' we all need from time to time.

Quite a lot of our members live in the Sydney area and they often have 'meet-ups'. BE meet-ups is a great way of meeting fellow Brits.

I recommend you pop over to the Australia Forums and take a look around.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
