NZ citizen on 444 Worldwide income

NZ citizen on 444 Worldwide income
HI I am dual NZ UK ctitzen and aim to retire in OZ using my NZ passport
I have been told than as a temporary resident on 444 SCV you are only taxable on what you earn in Australia and foreign derived income is expempt
Anyone seen or heard about this
