Newbie Alert
Hi everyone,
As you can guess from my user name I'm based in Switzerland at the moment and have been for the past 5 and a half years. I have a two year old daughter who has a Swiss father but we are no longer together.
I really like living here but do miss things from home...especially the food!! The one thing I don't miss however is the weather
My hobbies used to be constant partying and sport but now I'm a little limited so most of my hobbies revolve around CBeebies, kids toys and being jumped on by a toddler (not to mention constant housework and laundry!!).
I'm pleased to have found this site so I can share my experiences with others and hopefully add some knowledge to the Forum.

Switzerland is a beautiful country to live in but very expensive...or it used to be. Most expats miss bits and pieces from home...I still miss things after living in the US for over 15 years.
I see you have already posted in our Europe forum...I'm sure you'll enjoy being part of the Euro forums. We have a team of concierges who will help you find your way around the forums if you get a little lost. You can find a list of their names at the bottom right hand side of this page.
Complaints or problems should be addressed to a moderator...Mitzyboy is the mod for the Europe forums but if he's not around any mod or admin will be pleased to help you.
Please shout out if you require help with anything...there is usually a mod or admin around 24/7.
